Gutters and Downspouts

Seamless gutters are continuous gutters typically made from pre-finished aluminum, copper, or pre-finished steel. These gutters typically only have joints or miters at the corners or transitions, wherever they wrap around the roof. Typically, seamless gutters are roll formed off a truck mounted machine at the installation site, or pre-manufactured to size in the warehouse.

A leaf guard is a specialized component of a gutter system that prevents or discourages the accumulation of leaves or debris within the gutter system. There are several different makes and models of leaf guards and they all have specific functions. In some instances, the leaf guard will cover the entire top of the gutter system and allow only water to enter, due to a system of openings designed to stop leaves and debris. In other systems, the leaf guard is simply a surface that is raised up, just prior to the top opening of the gutter system, to catch the leaves and debris, prior to the waterfall effect of the water into the top of the gutters. Other leaf guards are simply screening that covers the top of the gutter. Periodic maintenance of all of the leaf guard systems is required to ensure that they remain functional and not obstructed.

ROOF MAINTENANCE

Roof Inspections and Maintenance

There are several components to a roof maintenance, to include but not limited to, roof inspections, roof repairs or tune-up, debris removal, and gutters and downspouts cleaning. Your roof needs regular inspections and maintenance in order to help to keep your roof in good working condition. If you skip out on your routine roof maintenance, this will lead to your roof exceeding its life expectancy sooner than anticipated, requiring repairs or replacement.
